If I Lived in Venice…

For the last couple of nights of our LA visit, we stayed at our friend’s amazing condo right off of Abbot Kinney in Venice. The uber trendy neighborhood lived to its expectations and being a NY’er in the heart of it was a great way to unwind and enjoy lots of great food, shopping & chill time.

Mandy took me to my new favorite coffee bar Intelligentsia whose coffee “is like crack”. The baristas there are so friendly & take a lot of joy in making the perfect cup of coffee. It really is such a wonderful way to start the day.

Down the street is the amazing restaurant Gjelina and their new take-out spot right next door. The atmosphere at both is warm and beautiful. The menu changes daily and all the dishes are healthy, exciting & delicious. If I lived in the hood, I’d be visiting both of these spots quite often.
