Road Trippin’: Saratoga Springs, NY

It’s nice to get away. What a difference it makes to get out of the city, breathe some fresh air, visit a new town, and just relax. This summer, Ciao Bella’s going to bring you snapshots of life in small towns all over the East Coast. I hope it inspires you plan a little road trip yourself.

Last week, Gina and I took a weekday road trip up to Saratoga Springs, NY. I’m planning an upcoming photo shoot at my dear friend’s Amy’s getaway home. She did an unbelievable job fixing up this Victorian house – a perfect mix that preserves the historic style of the town with a laid-back modern twist. It’s only a couple blocks from the town center that hosts a variety of local shops – the most amazing French bakery ever, a slew of new fashion boutiques, a record store, and a variety of great restaurants.
