Homemade Easter Chocolates
What’s yummier than chocolates? Homemade chocolates! Gina and I spent the afternoon making delicious chocolates for our big Italian families. A little how-to is below. Thanks to both of our moms for teaching us all the little tricks to making great chocolates. Enjoy! x Nina
1) Get your supplies. Buy some chocolate (chips are better but can use bars from the grocery store as well) & anything you may want to decorate or fill your chocolate with.
2) Melt the chocolate. Fill a pot with enough water to have a plastic bowl fit perfectly. Bring the water almost to a boil – it should be warm enough to hold your finger in the water for 2 seconds. Then insert the bowl and the chocolates. Let it sit for a while and stir only when most of it is melted, or it will clump.
3) Add some filling if you desire! We put enough peanut butter to taste in the milk chocolate & coconut shavings in the white chocolate. Then we added raspberry filling to some of the eggs.
4) Simply pour chocolate into the molds.
5) Put in the freezer for apx 5-10 mins.
6) Pop the chocolates out of the molds and trim any uneven edges with a knife.
7) Finally, wrap in pretty aluminum foil wraps and cute bags.

I am very, very jealous right now!!! Hope they’re as delicious as they look!
They’re adorable!!!
How come you never made me Easter treats like that when you’re home???
